Appointments, fees, etc.

  • I see clients at my office in Cawdor on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday &  Fridays.
  • BEFORE you contact me to make an appointment please read here about what I don’t do and the conditions I do not work with. For ethical and legal reasons I can make no exceptions.
  • If you do send an enquiry by email, text or voice message, please state your age as I don’t work with people under 18.
  • I also need to know if you have ever had a psychiatric diagnosis and if so what it was, because there are conditions I don’t work with.
  • All contact with a therapist right from the initial enquiry is confidential (Be aware that there are ethical and legal limitations to confidentiality, even in private practice. These are listed in the Ethics page.)
  • Please be aware that I cannot see members of the same family or people in other close personal relationships at the same time for individual therapy, unless it is in the context of family or relationship therapy.
  • Remote session by Zoom or Skype are available only to existing clients.

Fees

  • Individual session —  £75
  • Relationship session — £80
  • Family session — £90 
  • Supervision session — £85

(Payment is due at the end of the session by card, cash or bank transfer. An invoice will be provided.)

  • Consultancy Fees (private, public & third sector) —  £100 an hour + travel
  • Clinical reports/letters (e.g., to GPs, psychiatrists, solicitors, courts, police, employers, DWP, Insurance companies, etc.) —  £50 an hour.

Session length

  • All psychotherapy and supervision sessions are up to 90 minutes.

Cancellation Policy

  • Please give me 24-hours notice for cancellations. I charge the full session fee for non-shows, or for last minute cancellations (under 24 hours). I make an exception for emergencies and illness).

Appointments

For enquiries and new referrals, please contact me between Monday & Friday during office hours. Weekend or after-hours phone messages, texts, or emails will be attended to as soon as possible during office hours on weekdays.

  • The sign on the building still reads ‘Cawdor Primary School’, and this is what it looks like when you enter the building car park.
  • Parking is ample and free.
  • Once you enter the building (there is only one door), please turn left at the foyer and follow the blue ‘Fully Human’ signs on the walls. My office is in a quiet area at the back of the building, separate from all the other businesses. It’s at the end of a short corridor and the toilets are right next to my office.
  • I should be on time for your session, but if my door is shut and the sign says ‘meeting in progress’, please take a seat in the foyer and I will come to get you.

My availability

  • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday  — 10am, 12pm, 2pm & 4pm

  • Friday — 10am, 12pm & 2pm

  • Remote online sessions are available only to existing clients.
